Why we are doing a re-make of a film opening
We are doing a re-make of a film opening in order to get an idea of how the filming and editing of film openings work. Re-making a film opening which gives us experience and prepares us for when we make our own film opening. The re-make will allow us to see the content and how much narrative is involved in the first few minutes of a film so that we get an idea of what to put in our film opening to ensure that we don't put all the action in at the start. Doing a re-make of a film also means that we can look at when and where the titles appear on screen which helps us when planning our titles as it gives us an example of how they should look and match the genre and setting of the film.
