Group discoveries on title timelines for Thriller

After looking into title timelines from many different genres and deciding that we are going to do a Thriller for our film opening. We looked at title timelines from some films of the genre thriller. These including 'Resident Evil' and 'The girl with the dragon tattoo'. We then looked at both title timelines and discovered some similarities that they had due to them both being thrillers. In both timelines the titles durations were very short, this is to show the fast pace a thriller has. From this we will be able to use this information in our title timeline and make sure that are titles are reasonably fast so the audience is aware of the genre. The Film title (name of film) Is fairly near the beginning of the film opening in both these title timelines which means in our thriller 'The Escape' we will put the title near the beginning of the film. The film title also stands out and does not have much going on in the background when this title is shown. This tells the audience that the name of the film will be highly relevant to what happens within the film and therefore when creating our title timeline we will make sure the film title Is near the beginning but also in a shot where it will highly stand out.
