Angelina Jolie would be the final choice to play Agent Thomas. This is because in previous films Angelina Jolie has played the part of spies (Salt and Mr and Mrs Smith). Angelina Jolie has always been good at these parts and is physically fit and therefore good at the fight scenes. Angelina Jolie looks the part for the role also as she is tall and slim and therefore looks attractive and is physically fit.

Agent Wilson

Celebrity casting - Channing Tatum or Matt Damon

Narrowed Down - Matt Damon

Matt Damon would be the final choice to play the part of Agent Wilson. This is because Matt Damon
has been in films such as the Bourne series and The departed where his roles were action based. This shows that Matt Damon would be good at playing this role. Matt Damon also has the look for the role as many people find Matt Damon attractive which Agent Wilson is supposed to be perceived as being. Although Matt Damon is quite old for the part of Agent Wilson, his acting skills and good looks fit the part of the role.

Grant

Celebrity Casting - Liam Neeson or Ian Mckellen

Liam Neeson would be better for the part of Grant than Ian Mckellen as Ian Mckellen is unfortunately too old for the part of Grant. Liam Neeson has also been in many Thrillers before and therefore his acting skills would be good for the role of Grant. Liam Neeson also is the right body build for the part of Grant (he is slightly over the age for the role of Grant but due to being in low key lighting throughout the film this would not be noticeable).

MI5 Officer

Sandra Bullock is the right age to play the role of the MI5 officer. After having roles in films such as Miss Congeniality it is clear that Sandra Bullock would be good in 'The Escape' as she has previous experience in spy films and thrillers. Sandra Bullock also looks the role for the film as she is physically fit and when dressed in a suit looks very professional as would be expected of the MI5 agent in our film.
